Drs. Record, Record, and Adam have always made contact lens fitting a big part of their practice. In fact, 40% of our patients wear contact lenses. We fit many UVA and local high school athletes with contact lenses for their sports activities. We also fit many patients with the new bifocal lens which allows them to do many activities without need for reading glasses. The main reason people stop wearing contacts is due to dry eyes and comfort. This is why we use the latest contact lens materials that are designed with the wettest and highest oxygen transmissibility ever.

After a comprehensive eye examination using the most up to date fitting technology, we will recommend the contact lens type and brand that compliments your lifestyle and needs.

Most patients are wearing disposable lenses and we use lenses that are replaced daily, every two weeks, or monthly, depending on your needs or eye condition. We have a very large inventory of contact lenses and most patients are wearing contacts home the day of their exam.

We fit soft disposable, extended wear, bifocal, mono-vision, rigid gas permeable and toric lenses for astigmatism. We also fit specialty contact lenses for high astigmatism, keratoconus, and post refractive surgery patients.
